What I really would like said about me is that I dared to love. If we lose, we pay in disappointment, discontent, and lack of fulfillment. In order to win, we pay with energy and effort and discipline. I did then what I knew best, when I knew better, I did better. I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn. My great hope is to laugh as much as I cry to get my work done and try to love somebody and have the courage to accept the love in return. Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet. I am grateful to have been loved and to be loved now and to be able to love. See, I don’t personally trust any revolution where love is not allowed. The sadness of the women’s movement is that they don’t allow the necessity of love. Those around you, those you choose, and those who choose you. In truth, the ways in which your character is built have to do with all three of those. It is said that some people are born great, others achieve it, some have it thrust upon them. The sisters and brothers that you meet give you the materials which your character uses to build itself. I am overwhelmed by the grace and persistence of my people.
